Graffiti (Gates)

The graffiti that i have chosen is from a Christian Graffiti Artist named J Scott. Using Christianity as graffiti it is an eye opener to me because Christianity is a strict religion. I would never expect someone to use religion when doing graffiti. Some may say its disrespectful and the line should never be crossed. They are both controversial and when put together can cause problems. This just shows that people are broadening their horizons when it comes to religion. The church is not so strict on what is acceptable and how you should conduct your life any more. There is more freedom in our century and it has worked it way into religion. The one question that I have is should J Scott graffiti be considered graffiti since it is not on public or private property. We all know that is illegal to tag a building but that should not be the reason why someone stops their hobby. I do consider graffiti art work and like art, should not be restricted only to one type of canvas. Art can come in many different shapes and form, so graffiti should be the same.
